The area considered South and West is about a 20-minute drive from Steamboat Springs. The area hosts homes on larger parcels of land with a little more elbow room and even up to larger ranches.
The area’s best-known subdivisions are Creek Ranch, Emerald Ridge, and Twenty Mile Ranch. The vegetation in this area varies from pastureland to Aspen groves. It is a quiet and picturesque area with easy access to Steamboat, Oak Creek, and Hayden.
